PartSignal Privacy Notice — draft for legal review

PartSignal processes identity, contact, vehicle, order, supplier-verification, payment-reference, delivery and dispute information to operate the marketplace. Payment-card and banking credentials must be collected by the approved payment and verification providers, not stored in PartSignal's database.

Sharing

Necessary information may be shared with the selected supplier, payment provider, The Courier Guy, messaging provider and professional advisers. Information is limited to what each recipient needs to complete the transaction, comply with law, prevent fraud or resolve a dispute.

Security and retention

Access is role-restricted, passwords are hashed, and server connections must use HTTPS. Records are retained only for operational, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention and legal obligations. Customers may contact info@partfinder.co.za regarding access, correction, objection or deletion where legally permitted.

POPIA contact

The final notice must contain the registered company name, physical address, Information Officer details, regulator complaint details, retention periods and every cross-border service provider.
